Privacy policy

The short version

TempoTapper has no accounts and does not collect personal information through its tools. What you tap or type stays in your browser.

What the tools do with your data

The tap tempo counter, the metronome and the BPM calculator run in your browser. Your taps, tempo settings and numbers are processed on your device and are not sent to us or to anyone else.

What is stored on your device

The site saves one setting in your browser's local storage, your light or dark theme choice, so it can remember it on your next visit. It stays on your device, and you can remove it by clearing your browser's site data.

Hosting and server logs

Pages are delivered by our hosting provider. Like most web hosts, it may process technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. Fonts and scripts are served from this site itself, not from third parties.

If you email us

If you contact us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you.

Analytics, advertising and third parties

At the time of writing, the site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. We may add analytics or advertising in the future, such as Google AdSense. If we do, this page will be updated to explain what is collected, which cookies are used and how to opt out, and visitors in regions that require consent will be asked for it.

Children

TempoTapper is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles data, we will update this page and its date.
